| 5 of 5 people found the following review helpful  Nice Low Profile Tilting Mount, This review is from: Simplicity SXDP4-B1 Tilting TV Wall Mount for 37"-65" Flatpanels (Electronics) I needed a mount for my new LG 55 inch LED TV. Did some research and was still unsure what to buy. I ended up at my local store and saw this mount. On the Simplicity website it helps you choose the mount that is right for your tv. In my case it happened to be this same one. Since my tv is about an inch thick I wanted a mount that was low profile but that would tilt as well. This mount was perfect. I had read many of the reviews and was a little nervous, but I went with it any ways. Glad I did. It was fairly easy to install. Takes about 45 min. to an hour once you have all the tools out. One thing that I did is buy new bolts at my local hardware instead of using the once that the mount came with. I did this just as a precaution. I had read from others that the bolts would break and I did not want to take a chance on that. Other than that everything was perfect, even the tilting mechanism works like a charm. Read more 7 of 8 people found the following review helpful  Poorly Made, This review is from: Simplicity SXDP4-B1 Tilting TV Wall Mount for 37"-65" Flatpanels (Electronics) I'm not sure if this mounts works once it's actually up because I couldn't even get that far. I bought it at Costco because they've never steered me wrong...until now. Two problems:1. The holes on the part of the mount that actually attaches to the wall are limited to where you can only mount it with screws evenly spaced on either side of the TV if your studs are positioned exactly correct. In other words, if you have a stud in the center of the wall (or where you want the center of your tv to be) then you can't have the screws evenly spaced on either side, they are off to one side so that the left screws are 16 inches from the center stud and the right screws are on the center stud leaving no screws to the right of the center stud - so no screw behind the right side of the TV. Not a deal-killer, but not the proper way to do it. Since I didn't want to take it back and have to look for another one, I just did what I could, which led me to problem 2. 2. On... Read more 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful i wouldn't trust this one with my new tv, By This review is from: Simplicity SXDP4-B1 Tilting TV Wall Mount for 37"-65" Flatpanels (Electronics) I picked this one up with my new tv at costco and upon full installing it, i always felt like there should be something more to it. The frames and the mount is solid metal and "feels very sturdy" but the design and setup feels like its missing something. It leaves me with a "feeling of much left to be desired". This frame consists of the back black rectangle frame that is screwed to the wall and two metal bars that mounts to the television. To setup the frame, you simply latch and ensure that the top two bars connect or latch to the frame and you're done. You can pull it out and tilt it but it doesn't hold up to any sort of exact tilt. It gives you the option of tilted or not tilted and thats it. The tv wobbles when we leave it in the tilt mode. I wouldn't sleep at night if I left my television in tilted mode.My biggest annoyance was installing this darn thing.
