(I paid $69.99 on sale).I have my 32" Vizio LCD tv mounted in my bedroom. The instruction manual is only understandable after making yourself conversant with the very good instructions included on the dvd that came with, (both visual and spoken). The DVD also contains instructions on mounting some of their other wall mounts. Since it is a single arm mount, it will be a bit offset when the tv is all the way against the wall, but that can be taken into consideration before mounting.It sits about 3" from the wall when fully back. The hardware is well made, and there are many ways of mounting many types of backs, including rounded, (curved), and flat, with many VESA options. Though, I must say that the cord management is small, so I used velcro fasteners to keep them on the arm. The TV also tilts sideways, but it only does so when you move it, and it is a one finger operation, as they advertise, as well as up and down. All the movement... Read more 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful  Great customer service!, By This review is from: Simplicity SMF1-B1 TV Wall Mount with Full-Motion Tilt & Swivel 19"-40" Flatpanels (Electronics) I picked this mount up at Costso for $80 to use with my Vizio VX37 37" LCD. Yurns out Vizio doesn't like to conform to standards with the mounting hole spacing and the cross rails on this mount were about 2 inches too short even though it is designed to work with up to a 40" display. There is a lot of adjustability in the mount and just about any mounting hole spacing up to a certain max will work. I managed to rig both rails together to cover the distance but that left me with only a top rail. So I called Simplicity customer service today to order 2 more rails for the bottom. They weren't suprised when I said I had a Vizio...apparently they hear this issue frequently. He said that technically I will void my warranty by doing this but he would be happy to get me another set of rails anyway if I wanted. I expected it to cost me something but he thanked me for purchasing one of their mounts and said there was no charge - parts are going out UPS. NICE. FYI - the mount works just... The washers were too wide and the final mount screw wouldn't fit due to how the mounting plate was designed. I would not recommend this product due to poor design. |
