There were no instructions in the box, but the installation is straight forward. The four clips that hold the iPad in place are much thicker than the iPad, so while I'm not concerned with the device falling out, it does wiggle around some, especially when I have the iPad tilted downward (which I do when I'm laying in bed). The description is for all 7-10" tablets so I guess there are a few fat ones out there that need the bigger clips. I have the mount clamped sideways so the arm extends out horizontally; the arm droops quite a bit when extended all the way out. It helps to have a few bends in the arm to tighten it up, but that hinders the reach. The most annoying problem is the tablet vibrates back and forth every time you touch it.
