Nikon N60 35mm SLR Camera (Body only) Reviews
114 of 117 people found the following review helpful N60 is a perfect entry level SLR, By A Customer This review is from: Nikon N60 35mm SLR Camera (Body only) (Electronics) An excellent choice for anyone looking for an SLR at the hobby level. The N60 has all the features you'll need to allow for full control, and takes great "auto mode" pictures too. While heavier than most, the camera is rugged - using stainless steel parts where most use plastic (check out the lens mount). The extra heft also makes the camera feel more stable. 84 of 89 people found the following review helpful Great Entry Level SLR, By This review is from: Nikon N60 35mm SLR Camera (Body only) (Electronics) I have had the N60 for about 4 months and I have taken at least 30 rolls of film with it. All of the pictures have come out great. When compared to my dads Minolta 530si, this camera is better in almost every way. Although it is a little heavy compared to the other entry level SLR's I prefer it to a lighter camera that has much less of a quality feel to it. 52 of 54 people found the following review helpful Wonderful Pictures, By Sara Carrillo (Liberal, KS) - See all my reviews This review is from: Nikon N60 35mm SLR Camera (Body only) (Electronics) I've owned my Nikon N-60 for about a year now and have to say that it's a great camera. The things that most set Nikon apart from other cameras are picture quality, ease of use and camera quality. You will find that Nikon cameras weigh more than comparable cameras of other brands because their construction is sturdier and meant to last for years. As for picture quality, I can only say that when the photographer who was supposed to take my brother's wedding pictures got drunk and failed to show (!), the pictures I took with my Nikon made a most acceptable wedding album. Being strictly an amateur, I've not yet learned to develop my own photos, but my Nikon's pictures can be blown up to 11"x16" by a mail-in developer with no fuzziness or loss of clarity. And of course, once you get the camera, it's so easy to use you have to start buying lenses and filters! So far I have the basic 38:80 lens and a 100:300 zoom, which adjusts for macro @ 300 to take portraits... Read more |
